Curious Little Mind 🌼

This piece belongs to my lockdown days, when home became the world and small things felt bigger than ever. I’m sharing it here today, just as it was written then.Enjoy!!

 Curious Little Mind 

Everybody is not lucky to have siblings but I am. I have a little sister who accompanies me all around.
It's very hard to believe that we have been staying indooors for over seventeen days. It was neither expected nor imagined by anyone of us. People are threatned hearing the rumors worldwide but the small children are found carefree and cheerful. Having siblings is one of the most luckiest moment especially during the holidays. Me and my sister have been playing throughout the day, sometimes hide and seek,sometimes ludo, chess and even sometimes we cook food together. Though she is small she pays high interest in cooking,stitching, washing clothes etc.
During the lockdown, I found her thirstier to go outside the house, call her friends in a loud voice and play with them all over the day. Nowadays she is engaged in playing madal, flute and learning bicycle. My sister who didnot like cartoon before is addicted to cartoon these days. 

Being small and unknown about the rumors caused by the epidemic, she is carefree and cheerful. Also she is eagerly waiting for her school days; new friends, new class, new class, new book and excitement.

These days during lockdown I found a drastic change on her. I noticed a big smile and happiness in her when she is getting a chance to spend a lot of time with parents. It must have been the first time she is spending such a long time with parents since she attended the school. She has got the freedom from all pressures and homeworks. One of the preetiest fact is that she keeps on changing her clothes and her hairbands at least thrice a day. She also tries mother's jewellery and cosmetics very often.
I noticed that her level of thinking and curiousness is increased. She has started to ask a lot of questions everytime. She has learnt many moral values and good habits these days. Although, there is a small bundle of tiredness and irritation in her while remaining inside the house for large number of days. She is keen to visit various places.
I have noticed gradual increase in her mischiveous acts, happiness and a bit of tiredness with smile and love. I am really blessed to have a sibling whom I can take care of, someone I can learn from, someone I can be an example to and someone I can love.
